Maison Vidaigne Maison Vidaigne — with a nod to its location on the Vidaigneberg — is a brand-new, modern holiday villa with all comforts and space for 12 people.
We are David and Rebecca and have been running the Meuleberghoeve for over 15 years, on the slope of the Zwarteberg. Our charming and ancestral home with outbuildings has transitioned from pure vegetable cultivation and agricultural activity to a beautiful holiday farm with renown. We are the proud parents of Kobe and Mats, and the dog Mila is our most cuddly house friend. For about 5 years, we have also been renting out "La Maison du Docteur" on the estate, a spacious holiday home for 6 people. Because our connection with people and holidaymakers from all over is so dear to us, we wanted to invest in additional holiday accommodation with greater capacity. That's why we built "Maison Vidaigne" in 2024.

Maison Vidaigne Maison Vidaigne — with a nod to its location on the Vidaigneberg — is a brand-new, modern holiday villa with all comforts and space for 12 people.
The wide doors and step-free transitions between the ground floor spaces make the house very accessible for less mobile guests or wheelchair users.
All beds (90 cm wide) are made separately and can also be placed separately. Ideal for a diverse group of cycling friends who prefer to sleep separately, several families together, girlfriends who want to enjoy the beauty of the region together for a few days, people who want to explore the surroundings on foot or by bike, culinary enthusiasts... Of course, all beds can also be joined together according to personal preference.
The house is completely separated from the nearby road and has 3 or 4 private off-road parking spaces.
Thanks to this safe separation from the road and the play opportunities, the house is particularly child-friendly. The entire house has a basement. In it resides a particularly large hobby room — our "family cave" — with a bar, pool table, billiards, dartboard, and play area for children. Sufficient space for lots of fun in the spacious basement. The enclosed basement provides a safe haven for (many) and sometimes expensive bicycles.

Toilet paper, detergent and dishwasher cubes are a starter pack, the rest must be provided by yourself.

- A double room with a shared bathroom (walk-in shower), and a separate toilet. - A room with bunk beds.

The range of leisure options in this region is as varied as its enchanting landscapes and views. Numerous walking routes and cycling tours will take you to some of Flander’s best preserved natural scenes and beautiful countryside. A stone’s throw from the Zwarteberg lies the north of France, full of picturesque villages and towns. Moreover, the Belgian Coast is only a half hour drive away and certainly worth a visit.

The war history is also ubiquitously present here. Our holiday house lies in between Ypres and Poperinge (15 minutes car drive only), both important front cities during WWI, and is the ideal starting point for those who want to discover and experience the many impressive monuments, military cemeteries and war sites nearby.
